MagicSoft Gateway is an application aimed at transporting video/audio content inside the studio and over the internet.
It bridges the gap between coaxial cable signals like SDI/HDMI and IP protocols like UDP / RTP /RTMP / SRT for all the video resolutions from SD, HD to 4K.
The processing chain includes video transcoding between all supported video formats and resolutions.
It’s suitable for professional environments such as broadcasting stations and production studios, works under Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 and Windows Server (64-bit).

The features of the software:
– view incoming video as SDI / HDMI / analog by using Decklink and Intensity cards
– view and record (as .mov, without re-encoding) NDI streams
– view and record (as .ts, without re-encoding) UDP / SRT streams
– output each panel to a Decklink and Intensity card
– encode the content displayed by each panel into NDI output
– encode the content displayed by each panel into UDP or SRT output
– encode the content displayed by each panel into RTMP or RTMPS
– detect loss of signal and signal freezing
– detect image abnormalities like image being too white or too black


You can configure a panel to take inputs from other panels (switcher panel).
By using switcher panels, layouts with multiple smaller panels and a few bigger panels
can be used for efficiently managing the display.
You can monitor up to 16 sound channels by simply clicking on the pair that you want to monitor.


You can customize the panels layout by using an easy to operate wizard.
You can manage the panels (loading, cloning or deleting) from a user interface that allows you to preview the panels layout.

MagicSoft Gateway has a watch-dog application that ensures the uninterrupted functionality of the software.

The list of compatible hardware is open. The hardware vendors update their systems on a regular basis and it is difficult to evaluate every new systems that come to market.
The most important thing to consider is that the video frame-buffer must be compatible with the motherboard and the rest of your system. Our software will work for sure if the systems are configured correctly.
